On Friday, December 15, 2017, Jason DeZurik suffered a massive, life-threatening stroke and was transported by Medi-Flight to Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. In the wee hours of the morning of December 16, Jason underwent brain surgery that saved his life. Surgeons later told Jaya that had they waited one hour longer, Jason’s life would have been in jeopardy. We are all praising and thanking God, along with the DeZurik family, for God’s miraculous hand of protection that has encircled Jason and his family through this whole ordeal. Jason is still in ICU for the time being and the family appreciates all of the prayer warriors who have been upholding them these past 5 days.
We want to keep everyone updated as to Jason’s progress, so we welcome you to our CaringBridge website. We will be using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your love and support and words of hope and encouragement, and especially your continued prayers. Thank you for visiting.
