Jarod Rebuck Jarod's Journey

On Wednesday, February 8, 2016 Jarod kissed his fiancé Kayla and their three children and sent them on their way to his stepdaughter's ballet class just like he does every Wednesday.  Jarod was to be heading to work around 4:45pm that day to make the almost hour long drive to work. Winter weather had hit pretty hard and fast that day and Jarod didn't make it to work. He was involved in a head on collision. It took them roughly an hour to extract him from the vehicle. He was transported to St. Vincent in Indianapolis. He was placed on a ventilator and it was discovered that he broke his left femur and his radius and ulna bone in his left arm. He was prepped for surgery that night to repair the fractures. Jarod's leg was repaired with a rod and his arm was repaired with two plates and eight pins. He was then placed in the Trauma Neuro ICU where we are currently working with him to get him on the path to recovery.
