Janis Pfohl

Janis was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in May of 2013, soon after her birthday. Since then, she has battled this disease with bravery , stubbornness, and humor.  

As you know, Janis broke her femur on November 14th, and underwent surgery to have a rod put in place. From there, she went to rehab at The Center on Lincoln. She had an appointment with her oncologist at The Colorado Blood Cancer Institute (CBCI) on December 5th, who promptly admitted her to PSL because her blood pressure was very low and she had extremely bad edema. She remains in the ICU.
