As many of have heard, Janis had a full hysterectomy on October 12th, 2015 for endometrial pre-cancer. Unfortunately, we found out a few weeks later from the final pathology that it had turned to cancer and traveled to the ovaries. Because of the travelling, we may have had a few boogers escape, so Janis is going through a "Chemo Sandwich" which is a series of three chemo treatments, three weeks apart starting November 24th. Then radiation begins February 4th, 5 days per week for 5 weeks. Then Janis will get to rest for a couple of weeks before she starts her second series of three chemo treatments. This will continue through sometime in June. We will send updates through Caring Bridge to keep everyone in the loop. Thank you for your prayers and support as we continue this battle.
