On Wednesday morning, February 3, Janiece suffered a major ischemic stroke. It left her with no use of or feeling in her left side. That morning, she was rushed from her home in Ocean Shores, WA to Olympia, where she spent 7 days in Providence St. Peter's Hospital Stroke Center. Our family can't say enough about the healthcare team there, particularly the fantastic nurses. On Wednesday, February 10, she was discharged to a rehabilitation center, where she has now begun her comeback.
During this transition time, as we all learn how to move ahead in our "new normal", Coby will be staying with son & daughter-in-law Randy & Cathy in Tumwater. Scott came home from Ecuador to help for awhile, Jaime will be stopping in and helping from her new home in Ocean Shores, and Wendy will do everything she can from Los Angeles, and hopes to make frequent visits. We all thank you for your prayers and notes of encouragement and hope.
