Alan Hildebrand Pray 4 Janice Hildebrand

This is a site created for the Hildebrands so we can all keep updated and pray. Since July, Janice has been struggling with depression. Alan and Janice have sought care since then and have been trying a multitude of meds to help her. She is now on new meds which have helped her sleep but seem to have exacerbated her feelings of despair and panic. Yesterday morning, Friday February 12th, Janice tried to take her life. She shot herself in the abdomen. Thankfully there were medics in town who were there for some training and were able to get to her in record time. She is resting now in ICU. They had to take a kidney, and some minor damage was done to her liver and pancreas, but doctors say she will be okay. Two of her adult children were in the home and found her.  Pray for Janice's healing, for Alan and for their 7 children. Alan would love to hear from you on here! God has granted him an overwhelming sense of peace and calm throughout these last two days. Pray that Jesus will continue to meet him in this way. Janice is currently at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Kansas.
