May 2016 Janice was referred to see a oncologist by her regular doctor because there was something wrong with her blood but she did not have cancer.  Boy was he wrong after completing some testing Janice was diagnosed with CML Chronic myelogenous leukemia she began taking a chemo pill that she would need to take for the rest of her life to maintain the CML.  November 2016  Janice was switched to a different Chemo pill to maintain it better,  March 3, 2017 Janice went in for her monthly blood draw, later that day Janice was told she needed to come back in for another blood draw.  At 11 pm March 3 she received a call from Hutchinson Health stating she needed to come to the ER immediately as she needs to be transported to the Mayo Clinic immediately.  At 4 am March 4 she was admitted to the Mayo Clinic. After doing testing it was determined her CML had progressed to ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) PH positive.
