Welcome to Janice's page! Thank you in advance for your thoughts and prayers.
After several months of testing, doctor visits, loss of mobility, and worry, we have discovered that Janice has a swanoma tumor that has impinged upon her spinal cord in the thoracic spine. Her next step is to have surgery on Monday, August 12th. The surgeon estimates that she will be in the hospital for five days, so we hope to have her home by the following weekend.
I will update this page after surgery to keep everyone informed. I will send out additional information on Janice's needs post-surgery. I will be creating a meal calendar as well. Please feel free to reach out to me directly, laurablackburn2011@gmail.com or 336-908-1617.
