On Wednesday February 17th my mom was experiencing excruciating pain in her abdomen. She went to the ER and they took her in for emergency surgery to repair a perforated ulcer. While prepping her for surgery she mentioned a lump that was hurting her on her breast. They did a biopsy of that lump and it came back as cancer. While she was in the hospital they did a bone scan and detected some other spots where the cancer had spread. We have an appointment on Thursday February 25th to see what the plan for treatment will be.
