A friend suggested a Caring Bridge web site so everyone who loves Janet can have a way to stay connected and a place to go for updates on her health.
Recently Janet was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and a mastectomy has been scheduled for February 7th. On January 23rd she had surgery and cancer was found in her lymph nodes. She will have chemotherapy and radiation after the mastectomy.
On Friday she had a hematoma in her left arm and had to go to the hospital. It was very painful and has made it very uncomfortable to use her left arm. This has caused her to stop working sooner than she had thought she would.
