On December 21, 2016, Janet Howey suffered a right-brain, subarachnoid hemorrhagic stroke. She got medical attention quickly at Legacy Emmanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon, and had surgery that night. We created this website to keep friends and family informed, and as a way to send her notes of encouragement. The Ways to Help link has information to provide financial support.
