Hi everyone.  This is John writing on behalf of Janet to give family and friends a quick update.   As many of you know now Janet was diagnosed in December 2019 with Leukemia and is now back in the USA about to start her road to recovery at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore.   This will be a hard road but she has the best cancer experts caring for her and a wonderful support network to help get her through.

We are so appreciative of all the kind messages and offers to help and, as things proceed and we have a better idea of treatment steps and what care assistance will be required, we will likely be getting outside our comfort zone and asking for assistance.  

Hopefully we can use this website as a communications hub to keep folks updated on Janet’s progress, to send her our prayers and well wishes, and even schedule visits.  WhatsApp and email remain good ways to stay in touch as well.

Updated on 1 April:

Janet and her sister Jennifer are now staying in an apartment on the JHH campus as she begins her bone marrow treatment. She will not be having visitors at this time.
