On Tuesday, Aug 27, 2019, Janet visited the emergency room at Good Samaritan Hospital, where an MRI found a brain mass, aka tumor. In the course of one week, including the Labor Day Weekend, we spoke to two practicing neurosurgeons, and two retired neuro surgeons on the recommended course of action. Both practicing neurosurgeons made similar assessments and recommended course of action--a craniotomy as soon as possible to remove as much of the tumor as possible without harming the function of Janet's brain.
