The day before Thanksgiving Janet Ebey went to Urgent Care to address nagging "tonsillitis" symptoms that had persisted for several weeks. Janet was determined to "not be sick for Thanksgiving" since she was going to host an abundance of her loved ones in her home. We learned Janet is battling Acute Leukemia with a goal to get it into remission.
Janet is currently admitted to Medical City Dallas. Please do not send live flowers or plants right now since her floor doesn't allow them due to low immunity system.
