Janet Johnson

Mom thought that she was just coming down with a cold and got an ear infection.  Unfortunately, there were complications from that ear infection which turned into Haemophilus influenzae (H. flu) meningitis.  She has been in the ICU at United hospital since yesterday morning, Sunday, December 11th.  She needed to be placed on a ventilator to help her breathe and is being sedated.  They slowly took her off the sedation today, but she has yet to regain consciousness.  She has opened her eyes a few times and is starting to respond to touch.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
