On Sunday October 23rd, Janet and Barry Barringer were walking in Stillwater on their way to her aunt's 90th birthday party. A driver of a pickup truck hit Janet with his vehicle. She was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul and has a severe traumatic brain injury. Surgery was done on Sunday to relieve the pressure. Part of her left temporal lobe and frontal lobes were removed. She is in critical condition at the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Other than the brain injury, she has lacerations on both legs and an elbow. She also has a collapsed lung. The family appreciates your love and encouragement during this difficult time.
