Hello to all of our friends, family,  and prayer warriors. Welcome to Mom's Caring Bridge Website. We have created this site in an effort to keep loved ones informed and updated  on mom's condition.  This is Reece, and my mom is Jane.  

As most of you probably know by now, mom was diagnosed with Uterine cancer this summer, 2016.  She is now under the care of an excellent team of doctors and health care professionals at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston.  Though her first round of chemotherapy wasn't as successful as we had hoped, her team came up with a new plan for treatment that is now underway.

Last week, Mom began the first of what will be a 6 week course of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. We are commuting to the medical center from Sargent 5 days a week, as she undergoes chemotherapy once a week and radiation daily Monday-Friday.  She has a bed in the back of her Explorer (thank you Terry), and a driver (me), and is able to make the commute in relative comfort. 

As you can imagine, this is an exhausting schedule. We have created this site to hopefully keep all informed, while limiting the numerous phone calls that Mom has been receiving. While greatly appreciated, even a 1 minute phone call wipes her out.  She is beyond blessed to have so many people that love her. We will be posting updates regularly, and invite all to post messages, well wishes, prayers, pictures, etc. to share.
