Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Mid-November 2016 mom was diagnosed with stage IV stomach cancer. Since her diagnosis mom has visited Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City for a second opinion in which her diagnoses was confirmed and chemotherapy treatment protocol was provided. Mom remains hopeful that treatment will be effective and grateful for the wonderful community support she has already received from friends and family via thoughtful cards in the mail, supportive words via Facebook, and caring visitors while she was at the hospital and home. Although she is fatigued and in pain she continues to be as positive as possible. We understand that many are looking for ways to help and we will be organizing a meal train starting in January, so more on that later.
