Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  The end of January, Jane went to the ER due to her pulse being faster than normal (they confirmed her heart was fine). The lab results showed she had very low platelet counts. They recommended a follow up visit with her primary care doctor. After that visit, she was sent to an oncologist. A bone marrow biopsy was done on 2/1/2018, which revealed Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She was admitted in to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids that afternoon and will be there for an extended amount of time. Her doctors are very optimistic and say this cancer is curable. It was a blessing she went in when she did, the doctors feel like this was caught early and her chances full recovery are good! She does have a long road ahead of her but, if you know Jane, you know she is very strong and courageous. With God on her side, she is ready to beat this! Jane and her family appreciate all of the thoughts, prayers, and encouraging words.
