Welcome to Jane’s CaringBridge website. not sure if everyone has been updated on Jane’s battle with stage 4 colon cancer. In December of 2019 Jane was diagnosed here in Texas after feeling bad and her hemoglobin  was down to 5. She went to the ER on the advice of our primary care doctor and after 10 days in the hospital and surgery to remove a portion of the large intestine she was given the news that it was stage 4. She has endured 12 rounds of chemo and after was in remission. They did surgery on the liver to remove the Mets and did what they call Y 90 which is radiation pellets targeted at the liver.  She did  some more chemo different kind and her liver became what they called sick and was not working properly and has  not been working properly since. Fast forward to today and 3 years  and a couple of months later and the out come is not good. Jane has very few option left and is facing her last days in this life cycle.  This is a CaringBridge to keep family and friends up to date on her condition and progress.
