Jamie and I (Alice) were on vacation at Folly Beach, SC and while we were walking back to our condo, at about 11:30 p.m., the night of July 2, Jamie was struck by by a hit and run driver, who was later caught and identified.
He has been in the trauma unit at the Medical University of SC (MUSC) in Charleston, SC and has multiple injuries.
The situation is that Jamie has a subdural hematoma, (brain injury), fractured pelvis, a damaged urethra, broken ankle (needs surgery soon), tibia, big toe, and several ribs. Abrasions and contusions are all over his body.
We will keep you updated about our sweet Jamie's recovery and really appreciate your prayers and thoughts.
