Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Jamie’s story beginning back in 2013 on December 9th. Jamie was diagnosed with Cutaneous T cell Lymphoma Mycosis Fungoides, it’s a blood cancer that appears on your skin in the form of lesions and tumors. She started her treatment with radiation and chemotherapy at UW health in 2014. There was minor success with the radiation but she continued with chemotherapy. Over the course of 5 years 2014-2019, she has gone through multiple trials of chemo and radiation regiments, some resulting in visible success for short periods of time and others that have tanked her counts resulting in multiple hospital stays. Jamie has been on so many new treatment in hopes that one of them work. She recently did a round of radiation followed by an antibody treatments. There were high hopes that they would have success with this treatment.... she had clear skin and minimum symptoms for about two months. She is now told that her cancer has progressed to large cell lymphoma , resulting in penny size tumors over her body. Jamie describes these tumor as some of the most painful things she has experienced. On November 5th Jamie was told that a bone marrow transplant is the only way to go but before that can happen they want to get her healthier. On November 12th she started a new treatment call CHOEP.

Bringing you to present day, Jamie has stopped working to allow her to receive treatment and Dan, her husband is out of days off, so any time away from work is all unpaid time.
There is so much more to her story but we will add information as we go in this journey.
