To the ones that doesn't know my story I've decided to share it here. I'm 40 years old and married to my wonderful wife Jan. I have 3 kids . Well I was diagnosed with diabetes several years ago and was hospitalized a few times over the next year's to come. Well I'm gonna speed up to the last few . I was diagnosed with a non alcoholic fatty liver that has progressed into cirrhosis . I see my local gastroenterologist and he is great but refered me to the hepatology Dept of Jewish hospital in Louisville due to my insurance and Vanderbilt not working together. I checked with insurance over and over and they started to work together again so I transferred to Vanderbilt. This past Monday I had to go in to have ascetes drained off my stomach again. That makes the 7th time I've had to have it done. This time he got 5240 ml of fluid. It usually lasts for a while this time it didn't. I'm scheduled to go back on Monday afternoon. If the scales are close to the same , I'm weighing the same already as I was Monday. I know there is lots I'm leaving out but if anyone wants to know more let me know. I'm here just to share my experience with all.
