  Our 5 month old baby Jameson was going to get an abcess on his left hip drained as they thought it was a deep infection that would not heal on 3/23/12. The surgeon also performed a biopsy on his tissue and could tell it was cancer.  

After a week of waiting anxiously we were told that he has Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma.  Our doctor also found an underlying condition Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID).  It was then discovered that he didn't have cancer but an abnormal cluster of cells due to his SCID.

He has since undergone a new procedure called Gene Therapy and we are waiting for him to grow his own immune system.
