James became sick iin August with a flu. since then he has had numerous fevers, colds and vomiting episodes. He lost a significant amount of weight from the summer until now and there was concern about the weight loss and frequent illnesses. In Oct we took him to the doctor and they did a blood work up, this showed nothing. He continued through the winter with colds and cough but nothing of major significance. In the last month he seemed to get sicker more coughing and vomiting. He was running low grade fevers for some time. Three weeks ago the fatigue and coughing was too much. We went to the ER for blood work and he was admitted. Once at the hospital they began testing to figure out what was going on. It turned out he had RSV, one layer of issue. They were also exploring what else was going on. They did numerous scans and tests. They were thinking infectious disease or a lymphoma. Once ruling out any heart issues related to his Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. The focus was on these. After a biopsy of a lymph-node they came back with a diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma.
