Over the past few months, Jim has had episodes of fever and chills with no appetite that would last a few days. About 2 months ago he started loosing his appetite and it didn't go away. He would often be sick if he tried to eat. He started to loose a lot of weight. For the past month he has been able to eat almost nothing, even when he really tries. He has lost over 40 lbs. After many tests by our family doctor, he was referred to a Neurologist who suspected TB and sent him for a chest x ray. That is how they discovered a mass in his lung. Monday was the biopsy. We found out Thursday that he definitely has lung cancer. We have not been to the oncologist yet. His big challenge now is to regain his appetite and build up his strength. At 142 lbs., he has a long road ahead of him. We believe that God is in control and he will be by Jim's side through this battle. We covet your prayers.
