Dad had a heart attack probably on Tuesday evening. Dad went to the hospital on Thursday afternoon. The heart attack was a large one and it caused permanent damage to his heart. Dad will get under going surgery for an LVAD (http://www.webmd.com/heart-disease/heart-failure/left-ventricular-assist-device) The road to recovery will be long.
