A little update for you all. Sorry, time has gotten away from me on updates. No news is good news they say. lol Dad has continued with the cancer treatment every other week still. His cancer numbers are remaining stable they tell us. Wonderful news! Overall he is feeling pretty good. He has finished the antibiotic treatments for his fungal infection he had in the lung and then a couple of bacteria infections also. He is no longer coughing all the time. Praise the good Lord!! He had his final CT scan of the lung last week and it looks good. Has just scar tissue where the fungal infection was. Glad he is past that now. He has been having some issues with his right shoulder. He had a MRI done and saw the orthopedic doctor today. He does have a small tear of the rotator cuff, but does not need surgery. Answered prayers again. He will need to continue PT and have them work that area along with his strength and balance he has been getting treatment for. He received a cortisone shot today, so hopefully that will kick in and relieve some pain for him. Tomorrow, he will go see the dermatologist again and have a little procedure to remove some skin cancer off his ear. Ugh not a fun place to that removed from. Thankfully it was caught early and getting taken care of. He continues to stay busy doing projects in his garage. I tell him its time to stop doing BIG projects like painting his truck and just stick to things that wont hurt his body. He has hearing aids but I feel he turns them down when I give advice. Haha.... that stubborn old man will never learn. He was sharing a Facebook account with my mom, he was not able to log back in so he is now a big boy and has is own account. If you see a friend request he was not hacked he just never had his own account. Feel free to friend him, as he is not really sure what he is doing yet. lol Mom update. She had her appointment with the ENT doctor that did her thyroid cancer surgery and things are still looking good for her. She still does some speech therapy to help with her voice . She had her kidney labs done recently and that all looks good too. Praise the lord again. Thank you for the continued prayers for these two, we appreciate them.
