Our dear friends and family, on January 12, to our shock, Jim was diagnosed with a highly aggressive terminal brain cancer known as Glioblastoma.  The tumor began to increasingly cause pressure in his head and began affecting his recall.  Things have moved quickly since then.  A wonderful team of doctors made Jim a priority and a week later he had brain surgery, removing 95% of the tumor which has impaired the speech and communication centers of the brain.  Surgery blessed us with more time together, as he is now in recovery, waiting for the next step of his treatment.  He will soon begin radiation and chemotherapy to battle the persistent tumor, which has already started to grow back.

As a family, we are still quite in shock and are all helping our Mom, Claudia, maneuver around the chaos of new daily developments. More than you know, we appreciate everyone's out-pouring of support, words of love, hope and encouragement. As a means of keeping loved ones updated and respecting Jim's privacy, we, his children (Jaime, Adam, and Kerry) have created this website to inform his family and friends of any developments.  We would also encourage you to share stories and memories you may have of Jim.  He'd love to hear them.  He considers himself very lucky to have had all of the strong relationships in his life and wants to make that known.

Please pray for comfort and peace, as our Dad continues along with his treatments. Also, we are requesting no visitors for the foreseeable future, for the safety of his health while going thru treatments.

Please disregard any direct donations to the CaringBridge site. Thank You.
