Dad had a re-occurrence of the CLL in a marked way over the past month that has caused him to again be hospitalized in Fargo at Sanford North. He has developed antibodies in his blood which makes it difficult to determine which unit would be compatible for him when he needs blood transfusions, which lately has been frequent. Ultimately this has also caused both he and Mom to relocate to Fargo for awhile….right now Dad is still in the hospital trying to get stable enough to move to a transitional care unit at a nursing home, while Mom would move in to an assisted living nearby. Who knows how all this will actually come down, as Dad’s hemoglobin has not really stabilized, and he is very fragile in that area.
