Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

James (Jim, Jimmy, Jimbo, Husband, Dad, Son, Friend to many) was diagnosed June of 2016 with stage 3B small cell lung cancer.  With the support of his family and friends, James underwent treatment (both radiation and chemo) to fight the cancer.  It was a tough journey, but he made it though with such a positive attitude and was given the great news of being "disease free" in the later part of November 2016.   In January of 2017 he underwent "preventative" brain radiation, and again went through it like a trooper!

Unfortunately a couple of weeks ago, some of the original symptoms from last summer presented themselves and landed James back in the hospital with pnemonia, through scans the Dr's found that the cancer had returned. Last week they did a scan of his brain and found a spot.

James began a very vigorous round of chemotherapy on March 27th.  In addition, he will be undergoing brain radiation again.  James continues to fight with such a positive attitude and determination to "Kick cancer's ASS!".

The outpouring of love and support by all has been so welcoming to James, Jen, Zach and Ian.  They appreciate every single thing everyone has done and felt this would be a good way to keep in touch with all of you!

Please continue to keep them all in your hearts, prayers, and as Jenn always says, "Send the good JuJu their way!!"

Love to All!
