My name is Kathy Plummer. I’m James and Diane’s next door neighbor. Their family is our family so I’ve offered to set this up to take some of the pressure off them to update everyone who cares so much for James. This way, all updates will be here where everyone can find them.

On Sunday, Jan. 28, James was transported to Cookeville Regional Hospital with severe difficulty breathing.
He was intubated to help with breathing and it was suspected he’d had a heart attack.
He was admitted to icu and monitored closely.  He’s been kept sedated due to being intubated which can make you combative.
Needless to say, he wasn’t happy about any of this but at least he was safe.
On Wednesday, they went in and replaced a stent from earlier which had collapsed and inserted a second one in an artery that was 90% blocked. His heart had been starved of oxygen.
They’ve tested and found he did have a heart attack this time and also a heart attack the last time he was admitted in Murfreesboro. He’s a very blessed and lucky man.

Tonight, Thursday, he’s resting but still ventilated. He’s not yet tolerating being weaned off the vent yet. They’ve put some special boots on him to keep his feet from curling due to being in a medically induced coma.
The thing that’s needed most is prayers. This a very special family. Lots of love between these folks and I know together, we can all pray and he’ll be home in no time.
I speak to them daily and I promise to update as I get information.
Let’s all say a special prayer for James, Diane, Sheree, Shawna & Christy and their whole family for complete healing. ❤️🙏🏻
