Early in the morning of Friday, March 10th Jamalee was taken by ambulance to Sanford Hospital. Her fiancée, Gonlor, had tried to awaken her, but she didn't respond. After her visit to the ER she was admitted in a coma to the ICU, sedated, put on a ventilator, and other assistive devices. After many tests it seems she has pneumonia. Saturday they tried her without sedation, but she became agitated, so they sedated her again. This morning, Sunday, they stopped the sedation, and she opened her eyes, but hasn't responded to any commands. Late Saturday afternoon she was moved from a ward to a private room, so it's easier to visit her. We can sit in the room with her now, instead of standing at her bedside for a few minutes.
The outpouring of concern and prayers has been very comforting. More updates will be shared on this site.
