Jakob Whistler

Jakob was involved in a serious accident on April 19, 2018. He was struck by a car while riding his bike home from worship practice at church. Jakob loves riding his bike. He was air lifted to Children"s Hospital in St. Louis. He is in critical but stable condition. We have been overwhelmed by the love, support, prayers and words of encouragement from our family, friends, church and community. Jakob loves the St. Louis Cardinals (especially Molina), Kansas Jayhawks, and the Dallas Cowboys. He adores his two sisters, his dog Pheobe, as well as running the light board during worship at our church. He is a funny, caring and strong willed young man who is proud to be a Washington Bluejay. We have created this page for you to write to him and for you to show him how much he is loved. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Continue to pray for his recovery and for the doctors caring for him. We have been blessed by the medical staff  at Children"s Hospital and would like to thank them for caring after Jake with love, mercy and compassion.
