Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to share updates in one place about my dad's healing journey. On October 16th, he experienced what was initially believed to be a TIA (transient ischemic attack) on the golf course. The golf shot was indeed amazing, but it did not cause the attack. An MRI revealed a mass in the brain which was successfully removed on November 15th by Dr. Gavin Britz of Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. The tumor was malignant and the diagnosis is Glioblastoma Stage IV. An expert oncology team is assembled along with loving family and friends to hold his hand and heart at every step. We very much appreciate your love, support, prayers, and words of hope and encouragement.
