Jake was diagnosed with stage 4 gastric stomach cancer (linitis plastica) on September 29, 2016. It is a rare and aggressive cancer that has spread rapidly. He spent approximately 3 weeks at Kaiser Anaheim Hospital where they did an extensive bypass surgery. Jake has just started chemotherapy. Jake is a wonderful person - a great friend and colleague and a caring and devoted father. He is giving of himself and always there with an easy smile.
