Below is a description of what Jai shared on her social media last weekend. This is an explanation of what she has been experiencing over the last week and is shared with permission.


"Tuesday towards the end of class I started feeling really bad. By the night I was sick.  Started with a horrible headache towards the end of class. Took a shower Then got the chills so bad my body was aching. went from freezing  to waking up in a puddle of sweat. My throat hurts, stomach hurts, head hurts, feel weak, fever. They said it’s a virus and are treating me as if I have Covid but don’t want me to come in unless I am throwing up or having problems breathing. Had a really bad night last night.


Sunday morning I wasn’t getting any better and decided I needed to be seen and went to the emergency room. they admitted me with the same issue from 2017, white blood cell count elevated should be 11 as high normal but its 20. Indication of an internal infection. Not sure of next steps. Put me on morphine and antibiotics. Dry fast until they figure it out."
