Jacquelyn was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastic liver cancer four weeks ago without a clear pathway to treatment (Primary source of cancer still unknown). Sept. 9, she was struck with debilitating pain due to the growth of the tumors engulfing majority of her liver pushing into her other organs and was admitted to Honor Health Shea via ER. She has been greatly encouraged by the outpouring of loving visitors, praying friends.

She has been somewhat stabilized and the oncologist wants to start chemotherapy treatment right away. She will be given a minimum of 18 weeks of treatment to shrink the tumors and hopefully slow down the terminal cancer. There is no cure so all efforts are being made to prolong her quality of life with clinical trials. If you would like to be a part of that effort please sign-up to help out in this time of distress.

Please pray for her children, Roman 17yrs, Max 13yrs and Christian 11yrs as they are having much to adjust in a very short period of time. Her husband, Perry, is quite stretched in taking over Jacquelyn's roles and routines. His extensive commute to work, limits his ability to be present during the week. Please pray that he would be freed up to maximize family time and being available for doing things that volunteers cannot do.

Jacquelyn was released on September 11 and will need a few days to settle into new routines at home as she is not able to drive. If you would like to visit her after that, please contact her to make arrangements.

They are open to receiving donations through this website to help cover medical expenses as they have A LOT of out of pocket expenses and insurance will only partially cover the costs.

More than anything though, they would greatly appreciate your prayers. Please join Jackie in praying that this cancer is being used for the Kingdom of God; this will continue to bring out the best in Perry and their precious sons and everyone that knows her! Her faith is unshaken and TRUST in our Lord is 100% through this!  Praise Jesus for the honor to suffer as He did for the freedom He won!

Jackie loves this verse as her one of many God's mottos for her life: "This horse is made ready for battle but the victory rests on the Lord" Proverbs 29:112
