It has been 6 months since Jacks diagnosis of MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome).  He has been thru an extensive amount of lab draws, blood transfusions, chemo therapy and several hospitalizations.  He is now at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Lied Transplant Center in Omaha for a bone marrow transplant. He is undergoing 5 days of intense chemo and then the transplant.  He will be in the hospital for about 30 days and then has to stay in Omaha close to the hospital for another 60 to 70 days.  He needs to be close for weekly labs and doctor appointments and for them to monitor his blood counts, bone marrow and watch for any complications, rejection or return of cancer.

We thank God for the donor, who is a perfect match, and for all our family and friends that have kept him in their thoughts and prayers. Please keep praying.

We love you all!
