Jack was hospitalized for Thanksgiving @ St. Joe's & again @ Upstate on December 2nd. Dad is slated to come home from the hospital sometime on Monday, December 11th. His condition has deteriorated - he is extremely week & we are working with a Palliative Care team from Upstate Medical Center to keep him home & make him as comfortable as possible while there. He requires around the clock care now.
As a family, we are committed to providing home care & are well aware of how exhausting it can be for the caregivers & especially Mary. She needs just as much support as Jack.
We are blessed with friends & family that want to inquire about his condition, have offered to help & want to know the best way to do so. Hopefully this website will make it easier to coordinate all of our efforts.
