For the last few months, Jack has had intermittent vomiting and coughs that we have been working with doctors to resolve.  This past week he continued with these symptoms and added a high fever. On Wednesday (3.16.16), Jack was admitted to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis with pneumonia and for additional testing because of low blood counts. He received a blood transfusion on Wednesday which helped bring up his hemoglobin, hematocrit and RBCs. A bone marrow biopsy was done on Friday and our fears were confirmed. Jack was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Although this news was devastating, we are grateful that this form of leukemia has a very good prognosis and cure rate.

We are overwhelmed by your love and support for precious Jack, us and our families and we are grateful beyond words. Please join us as we go through this journey of healing, recovery and hope. With God and all of you, we are TEAM JACK!
