On October 6th, after a week in Chandler Regional ICU, Jack was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), also known as T-cell Leukemia. This came as a shock to his family, friends and coworkers as he was working up to the day he was admitted to the ICU (September 30th). He was transferred to MD Anderson Cancer Center to be treated as an in-patient (at Banner Gateway).
