What a difference a month makes. Jack had not been feeling well for a couple months. But pain issues in his upper right quadrant and bloating increased dramatically over the last four weeks. It reached a point that Jack was ready to go to the doctor. Blood tests showed his liver levels were high. An ultrasound and MRI followed. January 2nd we were told of the innumerable masses in his liver and a mass in his pancreas. Biopsies followed. He was admitted to the hospital on January 7th for pain and other issues. We met with an Oncologist January 8th. She was very informational, and answered our questions. He has Stage 4 Liver and Pancreatic Cancer. She recommended a chemotherapy regiment start immediately.
