Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support. As many of you know my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s about 6 years ago . Her struggle has been a long one, and though small and mighty mom has fought a long battle . Last month mom was put on hospice and she is doing as well as we can pray for .  With her beloved family by her side and a devoted husband, mom has never fought alone .  If mom had a voice in this horrific battle I would say she would want you to pray for her . Love her . Most of all educate yourselves and do not ignore the warning signs . My mother is a beautiful person who has loved each and everyone of us for who we are . She is near the end of this battle and I say as sweet Jackie would. Bless  her heart . God love her, and keep her, my Dad , and our family close in your prayers . 
Mom spends most days sleeping ,  and holding my Dad’ hand. She is limited to soft food. Yogurt, ice cream , soup. Sometimes she does surprise us with acknowledgement of who we are. Those are the best days .
