Jackie Synder-Allen, is married to Tom Allen  and is the mother to Sammy and Carley Allen. This site will serve as a communication place for Jackie's Journey through her illness and recovery.  It is  somewhere you are able to leave comments  and well wishes to Jackie and her family.  These messages will be checked and read to Jackie throughout her recovery.  


Jackie  was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday,  January 18th for Double Pneumonia and the Flu.  It became quickly apparent to the emergency room staff that Jackie was in critical condition.  She was having difficulty breathing, her color was not pink and rosey and she was lethargic. Unfortunately,  Jackie was not well oxygenated due to her stated illness and had altered her chemical balance in her body. This has caused her to be very very sick. She was intubated and her lungs are being ventilated to open up her lungs that are unable to work properly on her own. She is being given antibiotics to help with the infection in her lungs and now body,  as she has become septic from the abundant infection raging in her body now.  The infection in her body has caused her blood pressures to drop to the point that she was going to cardiac arrest and is on medication to bring her blood pressure up. She is in a medically induced coma to give her body a chance to recover from the shock that it is in and allow her to heal. The medical staff is watching her urine output to monitor kidney function, which is key to her recovery.  She is extremely ill and right now she is on a fragile state. At this time,  only immediate family is allowed to see her. This is because she needs to be protected from the exposure of too many germs and simply her body is in a recovering/healing state right now. Please feel free to leave comments and questions and well wishes on this site and they will be passed along to Tom and Jackie as they review them.  The #1 thing to be done right now is to pray, pray, pray and pray that God touches Jackie with His healing hands and cures her body of this illness.  May God Bless Jackie and watch over her, Tom and their girls  at this difficult time.❤
