On August 29, 2016, I had what  I thought was just a routine mammogram.  I got a call a day later that it was abnormal.  I returned for more tests and a diagnostic ultrasound a few days later which revealed a lump in my left breast and one in my armpit in a lymph node.  On September 12th I had biopsies done at St. Vincents Hospital (See picture above).  On September 14th I received the news that I had breast cancer.  I have invasive ductal carcinoma grade 2.  My lyphnoid tissue also is involved by carcinoma consistent with nodal metastasis.  I do not know the grade yet.  Michael and I will use this site to keep everyone up to date on my treatment.  You can also send me a message through this site.
