Jackie moved to Raleigh, NC to be closer to her daughter in July of 2020. On March 1st, she fell in her apartment and broke her hip. She was checked into Rex Hospital in Raleigh that day and had surgery to place a rod in her femur on March 2nd. The surgery was a success and we were all excited to help her move to the healing process and get into a rehab facility to be able to do just that. Unfortunately, the anesthesia and pain medications have created some confusion for Jackie, so she has been unable to leave the hospital as of March 9th. A UTI was discovered on March 9th and is now being treated , which could have also led to her confusion.
