Jack Bateman, our beloved "Daddy", was admitted through the ER on 9/9/13 with gastric bleeding, fatigue and weakness. A gastric ulcer was found, as was a "suspicious mass" near the ulcer. He is currently in Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, awaiting surgery for what we now know is stomach cancer. The "stage" will be undetermined until the surgeon gets a visual image at the time of the surgery. While we are very thankful for the skill and compassion of his doctors, we look to God for healing and peace. Please feel free to access this site at any time to see the most current updates.
