We tragically and suddenly lost Mike on Saturday April 25th (not of Covid). As if to add salt to the gaping wounds of our broken hearts, we are trying to grieve during a pandemic.
We thought creating a central space for us to come together to remember him may provide some comfort and community for us all.
Mike will be buried this Friday May 1st. Due to pandemic restrictions, only 10 people may be present at the burial. We will have a virtual memorial in the near future for everyone to attend, and will post details when we have them. We should have a web page set up for donations in his memory to the Cure Alzheimers Fund within the week, and we will also post that link.
Please post your pictures, your stories, and your memories of Mike. At this moment when everything was taken away from us, these stories, pictures, posts and community centered around Mike (which he, by the way, would hate!) will give us all the gift of a little more of him to hold on to.
