In July I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I am receiving treatment at Cancer Treatment Center of America in Phoenix AZ. The cancer is wrapped around a main artery and has advanced into my backbone. The doctors are not giving up on me & are helping to reduce pain & extend my time. That being said, I am trying to deal with the fact that I probably don't have as much time as I had hoped.
Every two weeks I go down for chemo & soon they will be starting radiation. Of course no one really plans for this and right now I'm trying to figure out how I will be able to handle all this.
